We tend to prefer the term “cloak” over “ghost.” The best “proof” is the results we drive. Additional proof is not something that we can’t really provide outside of a screenshot of the total number of links from Google Search Console. The reason we can’t pull back the curtain is because we’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars developing proprietary practices that aren’t being widely used by our competitors. If we start pulling back the curtain, our competitors will be able to reverse engineer our proprietary practices, software and infrastructure and will make it so that our dealers’ competitors are also using these practices, ultimately resulting in more fierce online competition.
